Hecho con Tiempo
Soroche de los Andes is a life project and multidisciplinary studio, where wood, clay, family life, and care for the land are all expressions of the same essence.
Founded in 2006 by Isadora (designer) and Pedro (architect), the project —based in Puembo, Ecuador— grows within an indivisible ecosystem: craft, child-rearing, artist residencies, cultivation, and the care of animals, plants, and bees. Nothing stands apart.
At Soroche, creating is not about producing objects; it is about participating in a weave.
Each piece, each exchange, each gesture belongs to the same network that sustains the workshop, the garden, the community, and the conversation. Throughout its journey, Soroche de los Andes has never been confined to a single place, for some years, it also operated in Rotterdam-NL, expanding its collaborative network while preserving the same spirit of work and encounter.
Recognized both locally and internationally,
Soroche de los Andes is a place where objects are created,
processes are shared, and the bonds that make them possible are cultivated.
We appreciate your interest in Soroche de los Andes, and we look forward to nurturing new connections and collaborations beyond.
